Philip Ruth

A Pennsylvania native and resident of Bellefonte since 2013, Philip Ruth has worked as a historical researcher and writer for public history projects in the Commonwealth and surrounding states since 1986. For the past 30 years, he has been the senior historian and Director of Research for CHRS, Inc., a cultural resources management firm based in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. In Centre County, Mr. Ruth serves as vice president of The Roland Curtin Foundation, is a member of Bellefonte’s Historic Architectural Review Board, and is a Director of the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association.
